India is a democracy which means that the Indian citizens have the right to cast their vote and elect their representatives. But, the citizens above the age of 18-years are only eligible to cast their vote at an election. This is how our constitution is written.

Applying voters’ ID in Manipur

Step 4: Now, the page redirects to another page with the heading “Form 6” and also has a fill-up form below it. The default language of the form is in Hindi, the page has options to change the language. Click the drop-down button above the heading to select the language. Step 5: Now, start filling in the form carefully. PS: Theasterisk (*) marked fields on the “From 6 “are mandatory. If you skip these fields, the server will not accept the form.

Step 7: If you have started the form filling, you will find the next field as upload the proof documents. The first field is to upload “Your Photograph”, to upload the photograph, click “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, now select the photo (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button on the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded instantly.

Step 8: The field will be to upload the “Age-Proof”, click the button “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, select the document required (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button at the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded. Now, select the type of document that you have uploaded from drop-down menu near.

Step 9: Next, The field will be to upload the “Address-proof”, click the button “Choose File” button near and a box pops up, select the document required (jpg, png, bmp, jpeg) from the file destination and click the “open” button at the bottom of the box and the file will be uploaded. Now, select the type of document that you have uploaded from drop-down menu near.

Step 10: Once, you have completed the uploading procedure, fill in the “declaration form” as requested and click the “Submit” button below.

Now, the website will display an acknowledgment slip on the page with a reference ID and other details. Save the reference ID for checking the application status online.

Once the application procedure online is complete a booth level officer will visit you and then verify the details submitted, on successful verification the voters’ ID card will be delivered to your address within a month.

Step 4: Enter the reference ID in the form and click the “Track Status” button

Now, if the reference ID entered is correct the page will display the status of the application.

Download Voters’ ID Online Manipur

Currently, to be precise the election commission of India does not provide any option to download the voters’ ID card. The department will send the voters ID card hard copy to the registered address. Now, there is an alternative option that can be used only for few purposes. Below mentioned are the steps to acquire the voters’ ID card details online.

Step 2: Now, on the home screen page click the option “Elector Search” or click here instead http://erms.man.nic.in/websearch.aspx

Step 3: Now, on the fill-up form that appears on the screen fill in all the details carefully and click the “Search” button.

Now if your name is added to the Voters’ ID, then the page will display your voters’ ID card on the screen. The same screen will have the option on the down bottom to print and download the details displayed on the screen. Click this option and the details will be downloaded and printed.
