Steps to find your Voter ID Card online

Go to the Electoral Search Website of National Voters Services Portal on http://electoralsearch.in/

Here you will find two options which would help you find your voter ID card details. You can either search by Personal Details or you can search by the EPIC number (Electoral Photo ID Card)

In case you want to find the details through your personal data,

  • You would be required to enter your name, father’s or husband’s name. From the dropdown menu, select the age or date of birth, gender and then state, district and Assembly constituency.
  • You can also use the map option to locate your area.
  • Enter the captcha text and press “Search”
  • Your details will be displayed on the screen if you are a registered voter.

In case you want to find the details through your EPIC number,

  • Go to the Electoral Search Website of National Voters Services Portal on http://electoralsearch.in/
  • Go to the second tab – Search by EPIC number.
  • Enter the EPIC number. Choose the state from the dropdown menu and enter the captcha text.
  • Press “Search”
  • Your details will be displayed on the screen if you are a registered voter.

After entering all these details in either of the tabs, you will be able to see your information which would include:

  • Your respective polling station
  • You would also be able to print or download your voting information slip
  • You may also apply for a modification or change in the address
  • You can find out who is the Booth Level Officer (BLO) and Electoral Roll Officer (ERO).
  • You can also find out District Election Officials and officials in Chief Election Office.

If you are still not able to find your particulars as per the methods mentioned above, visit the election website of your state. The Chief Election office of every Indian State saves the information of the voters across the nation.

  • Simply visit the election website of the state and enter the details such as your name, father’s name, and Voter ID number.
  • Hit “Search”.
  • You would now be able to see the profiles which match the details as provided by you.
  • Select your name and find information in detail by clicking on it.
